Through various mixed-media portraits, paper installations and handcrafted jewelry, I seek to pay homage to the women of the Caribbean specifically from the island of Grenada. As a first generation, Grenadian-American, I’ve always been in search of the Caribbean woman’s history which led me to the African Diaspora.
