Love “Rootsy” Earrings
I remember writing and doodling the word “Love” as far back as the 3rd grade. To this day, I write it over and over again as a form of meditation. Love is like hanging with your sister on your grandmother’s porch back home in the Caribbean, talking about your dreams of the future. Love is being in the delivery room while your best friend is about to have her baby. Love is daily text messages from your best friend asking, “How are you beautiful?” Love is having your mother call you out of the blue to give you a joke from back home lol. Love is looking down a sunny, sandy aisle, with your father is walking with you, all the while your husband to be is reaching is hands out waiting for you to meet him side by side to commit your life together in front family and friends. I’ve been so inspired by the idea of love throughout my life experiences that it was exciting to design these earrings.
